The Bermuda rowing community brings together people of all ages and experience levels who share a passion for rowing and being on the water.

Bermuda’s first dedicated youth rowing programme, Longtails Rowing Club gives students in Grades 6–12 the opportunity to learn a new sport, build confidence, and be part of a team.
Led by volunteer coaches, Longtails helps young athletes develop fitness, strength, endurance, focus, teamwork, and a passion for rowing.

Bermuda Pilot Gigs Club (BPGC) uses traditional wooden pilot rowing boats with fixed seats, which form an important part of Bermuda’s multiracial maritime history.
Today, pilot gig rowing offers both competitive and recreational rowing opportunities for ages 14+. Four
locations are available: St. George’s (East End Mini Yacht Club), Hamilton (BF&M Dock), Spanish Point (Spanish Point Boat Club) and Boaz Island (26 Malabar Road, Sandys).
