Membership, Fees & Visiting Rowers

Fees will be pro-rated for new members joining during the year. Your membership helps keep the BRA rowing. Membership fees support our facilities and dock, launch operations and fuel, equipment and maintenance, seasonal programs, insurance, administration, and the day-to-day costs of operating the club. Individual membership is required for anyone rowing through the Bermuda Rowing Association (BRA) or any BRA-affiliated group. Special events and programs, such as races, visiting coaches from overseas, and other specialised activities, may have additional participation fees.

Bermuda Rowing Association welcomes experienced active scullers, who are not otherwise prospective members, to experience rowing in paradise with us during our regular sessions. Rowing in Bermuda is a fun way to stay fit while traveling, add a new memory to your vacation, and see Bermuda from a different view. 

Scullers must row during our dedicated sessions. We ask visitors to please fill out our Visiting Rower Form and complete the BRA Waiver with a $75 fee for up to 3 rows - there is no discount for only rowing once or twice, or if weather conditions compromise safety.

Requirements:

• Member in good standing of their local rowing club.
• Rower must have active an active British Rowing, USRowing, or equivalent membership.
• Rower must be Safe Sport Compliant
• Completed BRA Waiver
